Bob Prince Settles UIM Claim For Client Injured in a Car Crash

Prince Glover Hayes senior partner, Bob Prince, recently settled a claim for underinsured motorist benefits for his client who was injured in a car crash. Mr. Prince’s client, who is a Tuscaloosa police officer, was attempting to arrest an individual when he began to resist and fled to his vehicle. The individual then began driving his vehicle in reverse and Mr. Prince’s client became trapped between the vehicle and its driver’s side door. The police officer was dragged several feet before freeing himself. Claims were made against the driver of the vehicle and Mr. Prince’s client’s uninsured motorist coverage carriers. The driver who injured our client settled the claim brought against him but did not have sufficient insurance coverage to compensate our client for the injuries he received. Mr. Prince had to file suit against the two uninsured motorist carriers. He was able to settle those claims recently to the satisfaction of his client. Prince Glover Hayes attorneys take every opportunity to remind the public to purchase uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.
