The attorneys at Prince Glover Hayes recognize that Seeking Justice and Serving Others is not limited to representing our clients.  We know that we seek justice and serve others by volunteering in the community and advocating for those less fortunate.  We do this in many and varied ways.

PGH is a member of The Injury Board, a unique organization of trial law firms who desire to be actively engaged in their communities and serve the public good.  To this end, The Injury Board coordinates a series of community service initiatives that members can duplicate in their communities.  One such initiative is known as the IB National Day of Action.  The 2017 National Day of Action took place on November 16 and the theme was “Fight Hunger”.  PGH attorneys and staff came together and prepared a Thanksgiving style meal for the residents of the Jesus Way Homeless Shelter in Tuscaloosa.  Chief Ken Swindle, Dena Prince and Morgan Anderson took the meal to the shelter and visited with Rev. Doughty, the pastor who maintains the shelter.  This project was a great way for everyone in the office to feel a part of a very worthwhile and appreciated endeavor.

All the attorneys at PGH play an active role in civic and charitable organizations around Tuscaloosa.  Bob Prince has served his church, First United Methodist as a trustee, a member of the Staff Parish Relations Committee and as a Sunday School Teacher.  He is a past director of the Boys and Girls Club of West Alabama and volunteers with Outback America, a Christian organization that sponsors 2 relationship reconciliation weekends for parents and children, husbands and wives. 

Matt Glover teaches Sunday School at his church, First Baptist and coaches youth sports with the Tuscaloosa Parks and Recreation Association.

Josh is the President of the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation, an organization which supports worthwhile charities serving disadvantaged, disabled, and at-risk families and children. He also regularly performs pro bono legal work and mentors 5th grade boys.

Coe Baxter volunteers at the Soup Bowl and helps his wife, Meredith with the West Alabama Food Bank.

Blake Williams and his wife, Kristine, are the small group coordinators at their church, Safe Haven Church. Blake also speaks every month to the youth group at Indian Lake Baptist Church.

Dena Prince serves on the City of Tuscaloosa Planning and Zoning Commission.  She teaches Sunday School at her church, First United Methodist and serves on the Staff Parish Relations Committee.  She sits on the founding board and is secretary of the Tuscaloosa SAFE Center.  Her passion is tutoring at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School.
